Gloria Elizabeth Piechoski

Gloria Elizabeth Piechoski, 94, of Oaklyn, NJ, passed away on January 7, 2024. She was born on March 1, 1929, in Philadelphia. Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence Piechoski.

Gloria will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children, Joan Banks (George), Lawrence Piechoski (Karl), and Patricia Sitko (Joseph). She was a cherished grandmother to George, Tim, Katie, Peter, Kirsten, and a great-grandmother to Emory, Harlan, and Cameron. Gloria was preceded in death by her father John, her mother Elizabeth, her brother John, and her sister Elizabeth McGuire (Harry).

Gloria lived a full and vibrant life, and her family was always her greatest joy. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Gloria’s kind and compassionate nature touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her strong spirit, sense of humor and her love of music, books and animals.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia in Gloria’s memory.

A viewing and a short service(7:30) will be held at Cieplinski Funeral Home at 1018 S. 2nd Street, Philadelphia PA 19147 on January 11, 2024 between 7-9 PM.
