I’ll never forget stopping by Mr. Robertson’s house for “dog food” sandwiches around Christmas time! The Ashe family is very sorry to hear about his passing.

  • A bright light was extinguished on May 1.

Working with Robbie was such a pleasure, whether out there shifting cars, or in the lunch room he always showed his best. He was fun to be around and always had us laughing. There were only a hand full of trainmen that came close to his ability and friendship. We would meet once a month for a retirees lunch and looking forward to it so you could catch up with our friend YICKEE Rob ( yickee was a term used for one of the regulations we had for making overtime). To me personally though he was and always will be Sir Walter Robbie. Robbie is already missed. May Our Lord welcome you into his kingdom. God Bless.

  • Rob is my Uncle , he is my favorite . They do not make men like him anymore. I will always remember you playing and chasing me around the table , and that laugh . We will all miss you !

Rob was a great neighbor and friend. He was always there to help no matter what. Living on Hazzard Street we had the best times and the best neighbors. His family and friends meant the world to him. He will be missed tremendously. Our family sends love and prayers to his family and friends!!❤️❤️🙏🙏

Great picture for a special person. Chris, sorry to hear about your father, such a gentleman. He is now with your mother; his reward in heaven. Both of you were blessed to have one another.

I’ll miss our Phillies talk but maybe he can’t pull some strings for them.

    RIP
