Karen Gondos

Karen Gondos, age 68, passed away surrounded by family on March 9, 2026. She was born on May 14, 1957 in Mentor, Ohio to her late parents Rose and Emil Gondos Sr.

Karen is survived by her husband, John Moffitt, and her children, Max Harness III, Jimmy Harness, and Karl Harness; her stepchildren, Jodie Moffitt and John Moffitt (Jen); Grandchildren Steven Vitale, Ava Vitale, Jenna Moffitt, and Samantha Harness, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by her siblings Emil Jr. (Peggy), Charles (Carol), Gary (Liz), and Kathy, and by her sisters-in-law Patty and Kate.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Mike Sr., Vic, and John. Karen was also preceded in death by her former husband, Max Harness Jr.

Friends and family are invited to the viewing and service from 9-11 AM on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Cieplinski Funeral Home located at 1018 S 2nd St Philadelphia, PA 19147.
